Thanks for the tutorial. As a basic jumping off point for editing, it's very helpful and seems like it would be much faster than fretting everything by hand. One thing I'm confused about, though. You say to "rename the project as PART DRUM" before exporting to MIDI. Where exactly in FL Studio can you do this? I imagine that it's so when the MIDI is imported into EOF or Feedback, it identifies it as the particular part to place the notes in. But when I save the file as PART DRUM.mid and then import it, it just throws it into the guitar track. I'd like to be able to fret a song on guitar the old-fashioned way, and then import the midi file for the drum part. But as it stands right now, I can't do that without overwriting the guitar notes I've already placed.
---- EDIT ----
Never mind. I figured out how to change the track name (right clicking on the button in the part selector.) Unfortunately, it appears that when I import the MIDI into EOF, even though it puts the notes in the drum tracks, it removes all of the notes in the guitar track. It's probably just a limitation of EOF's importing system. Oh well. I suppose I can just start new songs with the drums from this tutorial, then fret the guitar afterward. That actually might make syncing the chart as a whole a bit easier, now that I think about it.
