Am I crazy? I thought I remember seeing a random background picker for this mod using FoF 1.1.324. Is there such a thing and if so can someone point me to it?

Thanks

Hi, I installed you're mod, and its great! so thanks.

But is it possible to change something so I can see wich keys are 'hopo's'
Cause I turned them on, but when I get a new song how can I see wich one I can play without strumming?
(maybe a newbish question)

Thanks

in 1.1.324 by default the hopos one mesh of the note is blueish (as opposed to white for normal notes) but you should see the, no problem.

You can however change hopo color in the fretsonfire.ini (see the modding FAQ to see where is this file)
in it, find the [theme] section and look for
hopo_color = #...
and hopo_color2 = #...

you can put any hex color code you want, I use #000000 (black)

I'm having a problem, flame1.png doesn't display right. The actual part of the picture is way up in the right hand corner, beyond screen boundaries, and the tree things still show. I'll try and get a screen.

put flame1 static in rf-mod settings

@*VaLo*, animated backgrounds are exclusive to FoF 1.2

Sorry bout the double post, but it won't let me edit.

Anyway, that fixed it, thanks.

Also, for the main menu background song, what filters did you put on it to make it sound like that?

Hey,
This mod is amazing looking, and I'm very pleased to be using it with FOF.
However, is this obsolete, and should I just get this mod with the newer version of FOF?

Also, I find it very difficult to differentiate HOPO in this mod compared to what I was using before, or traditional GH.
Is there a way I can make that black ring just a bit thicker on regular notes?

If I download a song, I'll post in your thread. More people around here should do so, too.

a bit of reverb and EQ adjustments

@Punkonjunk, you can get whatever version you prefer. The hopo color can be changed in the fretsonfire.ini under the [theme] section look for hopo_color = #... and hopo_color2 = #... , you can try different colors to see which one you prefer, I use black (#000000) as hopo_color, pretty easy to differenciate hopos
