The reason I have some concern if this one is reason is because the wood grain pattern underneath the graphics, is from the grey neck above and is the exact same pattern as all the other necks from GH1. Not that the graphics couldn't have been added to that and then lowered on transparency.

there are a couple necks from guitar hero aerosmith pc version. they removed some and added different ones from the ps2 version. will post them here soon (not resized in all it's hd glory, haha)

EDIT2: actually, i also have the gh2 demo fretboards too, some are just hue changes from what we have now but some are whole new fretboards all together, i'll post those too i guess

yea, MrFaust, that isn't all the demo fretboards, only the different ones. the others are the exact same as gh2's except they don't have the faded sides and they have the gh1 wood effect. do you want me to post those too? (sorry if i'm making more work for you, i know it's a hard time in your life right now :crying: )

By the way, if any neck was PS2 exclusive, it was also on the Wii.

There have been reports of some of the necks (or neck packs) being saved in a format that FoFiX doesn't like... I'll look into which ones, but I thought I should let you know

EDIT: The GH1 and GH2 (inc. GH2 alt) necks are the ones with the problems. The GH3, GH:A and WT necks are all fine.

I suspected that the files were interlaced, but that wasn't the problem. They're pallete-based. They need to be changed to RGB format, and that should fix the problem

HELP!

1. Is there any special reason for necks to not work?
the GH1 and GH2 necks make FoFix 3.100 quit when I enter the neck selection in options.

2. How do I make the game select a random neck? I'm using the "random" neck but instead of selecting a random neck the game shows me the "random" neck itself.

can anyone upload the corrected necks then, or explain how to correct them?
