I'm bringing the bug count down all the time, there are currently no known bugs that cause a crash but plenty of little glitches.
Also the default controls suck for guitars at the moment but I'll change that pretty soon so that fret1==select in menu, strum==up/down etc. I assume this is desired?
Whenever you say the game is buggy please be a bit more specific. When developing you get so used to some things (bugs) you don't notice them any longer and unless someone points them out they will stay. Seriously, if something is not working the way you think it should say so.
If the game reacts to the 'X'/alt-f4 then its still up and running. (I won't bore you with the technicalities). The UI however is not exactly optimal yet but its getting better.
your rig should be more than sufficient to run this well above 100fps (unless using a huge resolution). The only thing really slowing down framerates are the big textures and there arent too many of them.
For reference I have a 8800gts and I get a little over 600fps with one player and 400 fps with three players (1280x1024). I lose about 1/3 of the framerate when I increase resolution to 1920x1200.
Anyway I'm uploading a fresh version to sourceforge, It's less buggy than the current one but not exactly release quality yet, and it has some nice little features as well. (PoV can be changed from menu, fullscreen support, lyrics display...).
