Song.ini Generator - Easy way to create a Song.ini file

Get the latest version of Song.ini Generator and make creating .ini files a sinch. Just type the info in the designated boxes, press the "Create" button, and *zap* the song.ini is placed on your desktop ready to go in your new song :cool:

Someone should make an updated version with some Alarian features, like the song loading screen text.

Errm No they dont. theres over 200,000 users and No most of them Dont use alarian id say its a 40%/40% users use Either alarian or Rfmod and 20% use unmodded.
And suprisingly. most of the people that dont use alarian dont use it out of principle and that principle being " most people use alarian anyway " or " alarian is like a god but in Mod form"
Admittedly features should be included in apps for users of unmodded/ rfmod And alarian, but please get that f*cking stupid idea that most people use alarian there for we must have alarian features, outta your head coz thats just plain wrong..

Well I'll add that if you'll clarify. If whatever the text is has to do with what's in the .ini, PM me and I'll add more to it. I'm not just going to leave this program, I'll look for more to add to it if I can find a way. It just has to deal with the .ini, I'm not going into the FoF program or anything, yet...

If you'll also clarify on eightnote hopo. I know hopos are the notes you don't have to strum to hit, but I think those have to do with how you fret the song, not the Song.ini. Also I'm not aware of an eighth note...

I did look at rea's post as he explained it better but if it does have to do with the .ini, you have to tell me the value and what people usually change it to, it looks to me like you could use the hopo 8th anywhere in the song thus it would be really long, do-able though, just long, and I need the extra info on it.

Ok both Alarian features added and some bugs fixed. If someone wants to PM me about the 8th hopo thing I'll look into it.

Oohhhhh, so 8th note hopo is simply an on/off switch type thing? 1 is on, 0 is off? What exactly does it do, like why is called 8th note? I'm aware of hopos but not with 8th...

Yes it turns it on and off. Usually fof uses 16th note hopo but when you have this in the ini the song will use 8th note hopo...

ok, look at this picture:

Wholenote Halfnote 4th note 8th note 16th note

There are 8 8th notes in one bar and 16 16th notes in one bar. Wich means 8th note hopo = more hopos...
